The girls love playing with "the hat" so they call it. I caught Kaitley doing what she does best in this last picture picking her nose! I always ask her if she is making Mommy rich, but so far all she has found in there is boogies! Ugh.... Kali on the other hand, has such a big heart. We where riding in the car on the way to choir at the church Wednesday and we had Klove on as always in the car and they where talking about hungry children who did not get to eat everyday. She sadly said "Mommy why do they not have enough food to feed my friends"?
I replied to her not everyone has enough food because they do not have enough money to buy it. Kali looked at me and said how can we help them Mommy? God gives me and Kait food why not them? At this point I am not sure what to say to her i want to cry, so I think for a minute about it and say to her. God loves them too that's why he gave them other people who are more blessed than them to help them. She looks to me and says does that mean I get to go on the big airplane and bring them food. I told her she is too little to do that right now. She says OK Mommy I will help you get your stuff in your black bag and you can take it I will stay at Graces! I told her I could not do that either so she then told me she was going to get a job and put money in the mail box for them and it would know where to go, God would take it to them. I could not believe my four year old could care that much about people she does not even know. It made me proud, but at the same time it made me wounder why more people are not doing anything to help... Including myself I have never gave to the poor as Christ has told us too. I never really thought about it before.
